SUMMARYSanford Rose Associates â Madison is a recruitment firm in food beverage dairy industry across the United States.Our client is a manufacturer and distributer of a wide variety of cheese / foods products. In its processing facilities, the company produces cuts of various sizes and produces a variety of custom blends and private label products for the food service, retail and food processing industries. We are retained with our client to fill this role.We seek a Sr. Quality Manager that understands program development and can bring tools to organize our Quality function. Proficient and demonstrated success QA/QC areas as itâ?’s a wide breadth of responsibilities.Position has 5-7 direct reports in three locations. Our client is also active in potential mergers and acquisitions and career growth potential in this role is highly probably.Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package, including relocation assistance, if required.JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Food experience is required; cheese or dairy experience is preferred, but not required.- 3-5+ years of management experience in similar role- SQF practitioner.- Food Safety program development experience.- Supplier and customer document management. Trace-Gains or similar experience a plus.- Proficient at utilization of QA/QC documentation management.- Business system utilization in traceability conversion from paper records.- Export and Import documentation experience a plus.- FSMA compliance and required documentation experience. – Audit experience with USDA, FDA, state, and customers.- Management of label requirements and upcoming 2020 changes to lead review for accuracy and insure labels meet regulatory and customer requirements.- Environmental sampling program experience.- Sanitation program management and validation experience.- Customer interaction and problem solving experience preferred.Personal- Proactive, self-starter, motivated, ability to work independently to complete requirements within timelines, able to work in fast paced environment, strategic thinker, planning skills, and a leader that can manage direct reports and influence peers and rest of staff.- Anticipate 15% travel in the Pacific and Mountain Time zones of the US; other plants, suppliers, customer site visits as well for customer service.- Excellent verbal, written, and email correspondence required.- English / Spanish Bilingual is preferred, but not required.
