Prior to establishing Sanford Rose Associates – VanderHoek Group, Richard spent almost 6 years with Evergreen Systems, a leading IT Service Management (ITSM) consulting firm. During his time there he built numerous long-standing relationships with clients and led the design and implementation of a variety of ITSM tools and processes. At each engagement, Richard was focused on understanding what the client wanted to achieve and built a solution that worked best for their unique industry and culture. He brings this same personalization to his executive search practice. Identifying, placing and retaining talent is a challenge for every organization – Richard adapts the process to the unique needs of your organization.
Before Evergreen Systems, Richard was with ACS, Inc. (now a division of Xerox), building both a technology design team and data processing team that provided services to a number of Fortune 500 customers. He hired, trained and developed an offshore team located in Jamaica; this team played a critical role in the day to day success of service delivery.
Richard started his career at Fidelity Investments. While he was there, he led the rollout of the IT Asset Management program to all U.S. divisions and Fidelity International, spending time in Great Britain identifying requirements, testing and implementing an IT Asset Management solution. This was later rolled out to the European and Far East offices.
Richard lives in Texas with his wife and two boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching his boys play sports, fly fishing and exploring new trails in his Jeep.
Kris Watson has spent the last 12 years head hunting in emerging technology as his first and only career after college, having achieved over 300 total hires. During the 2008 recession, he helped scale ITTS, a Top 5% MRI Franchise, to its most profitable year before they were acquired by maxIT Healthcare.
During his tenure at maxIT, he broke every talent sales record on quarterly and yearly production, having achieved over $57 Million in yearly consulting revenue across 3.5 years, before maxIT was acquired by SAIC for $500 million, to become Leidos Health.
After a short entrepreneurial stint, he teamed up with Sanford Rose and has maintained a consistent top 10% level production record over the last 5 years, partnering with a range of highly-awarded emerging technology firms around the world.
He enjoys serving on two boards for international humanitarian causes, good cold brew coffee, and taking his two young kids and wife of 5 years to new mountain towns in Colorado.
