As it turns out, sharing is sometimes not caring.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It doesn&#8217;t do anybody any good to share that information,&#8221; says <a href=\"http:\/\/sanfordrose.com\/santee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Malloy<\/a>, president of executive search firm <a href=\"http:\/\/sanfordrose.com\/santee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sanford Rose Associates in Santee<\/a>, South Carolina. &#8220;All that can happen is potential jealousies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Still, sometimes the gossip swirls, and you might hear things inadvertently. In those cases, ask yourself what you can learn, says Brennan.
