The Site Engineer will be accountable for the maintaining the design of the Wave System in Lemoore, California, and will primarily be based at the facility. Additional travel will be required. The Site Engineer will develop and implement improvements to the system, providing input to the product engineering team for the development of new products and adapting designs from new products for use at the park as appropriate.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Identifying potential design improvements to quantifiably improve the reliability, maintainability and cost-effective operation of the system
• Conducting research to evaluate potential equipment and process changes or improvements
• Create detailed plans and manage the effort for design, test, and implementation of any changes to the system
• Recruit, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors for engineering, fabrication, test, installation of any system modifications
• Provide ongoing technical support to the site maintenance team
• Provide technical review and input to the design process for new equipment for all of the company equipment/sites
• Ensuring that all as-build documentation is accurate by reviewing drawings against equipment, making updates in AutoCad and following the established documentation control process
• Cultivating relationships with design, fabrication, test, and implementation partners

• Experience with large industrial systems, preferably including:

• Complex networked process control systems; particularly with Siemens products
• Hydraulically actuated mechanisms
• Large motors and VFDs
• High power electrical distribution
• Minimum of 10 years in a professional engineering role ideally working with systems in current operation, of which 3 years are in a lead engineer or project manager role
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent, preferably electrical or electronics
