LA based Sales and Marketing Agency looking for Product/Project Manager. The Product Manager would be instrumental in launching items with partners on amazon and across incubation channels and prep the winners for Acceleration and Maturation in the company’s core channels where they have distribution/supply relationships and capabilities.

The Product Manager/Project Manager will possess both creative and analytical competencies, and the ability to work with leadership team and creatives to develop new custom product concepts specifically for the company’s retail and ecommerce clients .

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. An aptitude to function within deadlines while working independently and cross-functionally is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Owns the development and execution of compelling/original product design/concepts and sourcing
Produce cohesive product and/or proof of concept outlining development options/opportunities
Research industry and market trends and compile this data for customer and product development use
Ability to travel to attend trade shows as necessary
Responsibilities include, but not limited to requesting/pulling samples, setting up showroom/merchandising, sample mock ups, creating tangible prototypes or rendering of product concept and powerpoint presentations
Communicate with leadership team regarding product development projects progress
Collaborate with and drive Creative Team to create a solid proof of concept for Sales Teams to present
Create Digital Marketing Campaigns and engage consumers on social media ( YouTube, Instagram, Facebook , Pinterest, Twitter etc )to drive traffic to retailers and ecommerce
Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum three years experience in product development or project management
Experience in Digital Marketing
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Superior analytical, planning, project management, prioritization and decision making skills
Strong passion for building items/brands in the new DTC-retail mold
Solid understanding of selling in marketplaces, online and Bricks Mortar
Proficiency with Outlook
Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload within a fast paced environment to meet deadlines
Motivated, self-starter, organized, and effective communicator
Proven organization and time management skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Proven capabilities in applying drive and initiative into projects
