hard skills (industry specific qualifications, certifications, computer\/IT skills, foreign language),<\/li>\n<li>Lack of experience,<\/li>\n<li>Lack of employability skills &#8211; soft skills (enthusiasm\/motivation, professionalism, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, collaboration\/team work, flexibility\/adaptability, problem solving &amp; decision making, leaning mindset\/intellectual curiosity, and critical\/analytical thinking), or<\/li>\n<li>Candidates looking for more pay than employers were offering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With 10,000 people turning 65 every day for the next 17 years, employers recognize they need to continually be focused on ways to attract, identify, and train the existing and future talent pool.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 2012 Talent Shortage Survey recently completed by Manpower Group, the top 10 jobs employers are having difficulty filling in the United States are:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engineers<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Skilled Trade Workers<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 IT Staff<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sales Representatives<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Accounting &amp;
