The report says that although RIAs generally regard COOs as cost centers and not revenue generators, leaving the management of ordinary activities to COOs frees up RIAs to focus on business development and client service.<\/p>\n<p>It also quotes <a href=\"https:\/\/leahyosef.com\/yosef-colish\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yosef Colish<\/a>, managing director of <a href=\"https:\/\/leahyosef.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leah Yosef International Inc.<\/a>, saying, \u201cHiring the right COO is also critical for firms seeking growth through acquisition.
